Many images are from the public domain, while many images are made by those who wish for them to be spread freely and seen by others, sometimes with or without credit. Many images are also offered by websites who want their images to be reposted on other web pages for free branding. The Page Name or URL in the image gives credit.

What is fair use?
"Fair use" is a principle of copyright law allows for the unauthorized use of another’s original copyrighted work for the purposes of criticism, commentary, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research.

FAIR USE NOTICE: This site may contain copyrighted material whose use has not been specifically authorized by the copyright owner. We are making this material available in an effort to advance the understanding of environmental issues, human rights, economic and political democracy, and issues of social justice. We believe this constitutes a ‘fair use’ of the copyrighted material as provided for in Section 107 of the US Copyright Law which contains a list of the various purposes for which the reproduction of a particular work may be considered fair, such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research.

Remember, this is to be used both ways. If you want to freely use the works of others fairly, you must also allow others to freely use your works fairly.

“Reblog” or “Share” it if you want others to read this.
